🐭 From Leftovers to Legend: How Templeton Became a HVAC Mascot of Cool Air M.D.

Not every team member at Cool Air M.D. has thumbs.

Templeton doesn’t , carry tools, or answer phones—but he might just be the most unique part of our crew.

We didn’t plan to have a shop mascot. Templeton wasn’t purchased or rescued from a shelter. He was food—for a ball python. But as fate would have it, the snake had no interest in albino rats. And that gave Templeton a second chance.

Darin, our lead tech, saw something in this little guy. Rather than walk away or let nature take its course, he brought Templeton home. Gave him a home, A/C, food, water, and—eventually—a bond that no one expected.

For three days, Templeton HVAC Mascot sat in an open cage outside in the Florida heat. Door wide open. Freedom right there. But he wouldn’t leave. Maybe it was fear, maybe it was fate. Either way, it became clear: he wasn’t going anywhere. And from that moment on, he was part of the team.
